There isn’t much to say about that match despite that it was weak. Although the first time the ball passed the line of the Merseburg goal was in minute 2 when a Braunsbedra player scored after a foul. Consequently, the goal wasn’t counted, but one minute later Merseburg scored regularly. After 38 minutes of a weak match with a slightly better Braunsbedra team, the visiting team equalised. One minute before the break, Merseburg made a good counter and went in front once again with a nice chip over Braunbedras goalkeeper. By the way: their goalkeeper is always an eye catcher in the Landesliga because he is the only African goalkeeper. The 15 other - if you count the substitution goalkeepers too, there are more than 30 - are all Europeans, Germans respectively.
In the second half the match did not became better and there was only one further goal scored. Braunsbedra equalised after 73 minutes with an easy run through the defence of SV Merseburg 99.
There were about 200 fans inside the stadium; only five of them supported their team - SV Braunsbedra - regularly. It was shocking, that no-one of the Merseburg 99 ‘fans’ tried to hold against their opponents.
Something that was even more shocking was the performance of the referees. Their performance was even worse than that of the players. Fussy, absurd and incorrect - over the whole match. An even worse performance than the referees the day before.
The *Arsehole of the Match Award* wins the following person: the coach of Braunsbedra. Always complaining about something - especially disturbing: when one of his players fouled, he used to complain about the behaviour of his fouled opponent - he should have been sent off the coaching zone or maybe even off the stadium area.
