Usually I'm not so interested in cross country running events, but due to the organiser was HSG Merseburg, a club formed by students and personell of my dad's university of applied sciences, I went to the race. Not to participate, but to watch almost 50 men, women, boys and girls of very different ages competing in that race that was helt on the university campus and the bordering zoo.
Partially the participants had to run on very small and dirty tracks leading through wooded swamplands as you can see below.
I'm sorry that I can't give you any information on participants or winners, but organisation wasn't so well. Furthermore, there were only about 15 visitors.
