Before the Match:
The weather was still the same shit as the day before but we took our bikes once again. By the way I can anticipate that the next bike tour will take place next Sunday, because we will rent a car on Friday and Saturday.
It took us one and a half hour to arrive in Oppin that is situated few kilometres north-east of Halle.
The Match:
The ground was muddy and wet but the players showed an excellent performance in comparison to other Kreisklasse matches. Especially Oppin did everything to score a goal. There were scoring chances and actions in the penalty area of Dornstedt over and over. Unbelievable, that it took Oppin 45 minutes to score for the first time.
We were still in the pub when Oppin scored their second goal after just two minutes were played in the second half. But few minutes after we went back out on the ground, Oppin scored for the third time.
Dornstedt became better and had more chances and dangerous standard situations. Consequently they scored one goal on their own by hammering the ball into the net after a corner kick. But it ought to be their only goal that day, while Oppin added two further goals to their tally.
All in all, the match was the best Kreisklasse match I can remember, because there was so much action in front of the goals.
Entrance and Attendance, Catering and Referee:
The usual high priced Saalkreis entrance: 1.50€ and the usual few visitors: 50.
Moreover, the catering was better than usual and the referee average with few shortcomings.
Afterwards:
The weather was shitty now for two days…
